When I watch, It’s a Wonderful Life, I wonder what would’ve happened if Jimmy Stewart’s character, George Bailey, hadn’t returned home? There are many possibilities, such as beginning a new life in another location. However, his character is very beloved as well the entire cast are completely, even Lionel Barrymore who played the past of Mr. Potter, is very loved. Mr. Potter really wanted to own the whole town, but why did we like him?

As I thought about George Bailey, I think of how the family stuck together throughout the whole movie. Donna Reed, Mrs. Bailey, was a lovely wife and mother, she would have to have done something nasty after George getting himself into such financial trouble. So, why change the plot?
Lionel Barrymore as Mr. Potter (but I think this is labeled wrong.)
The story, in my eyes, would be the Bailey’s improving their home such as a castle out of the old, drafty house. Instead of investing in the town, turn it into more developments. Bailey and Mr. Potter would team up.
